Nokia has launched Nokia 5700 XpressMusic twister style quad-band GSM mobile phone in India which features 2.2-inch 16M TFT display, 2 Megapixel camera, FM Radio, media player with 5-band equalizer and Bluetooth with A2DP.

The Nokia 5700 mobile phone sports a unique twister design that allows switching between four modes – media player, digital camera, video calling and smartphone by simple twister handle. Equipped with dedicated audio chip, the new Nokia 5700 XpressMusic delivers enhanced music performance.

The twister hub incorporates keypad, camera lens, and dedicated music controls which are located on different sides of hub at bottom and each function gets selected/activated by simply twisting the hub.

In addition to local music file transfer from PC or another bluetooth enabled handset, the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic allows direct downloading / purchase of music tracks from a range of Internet music stores using Windows Media Player Digital Rights management (WMDRM).

Quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network ready Nokia 5700 sports 369 MHz ARM11 CPU running Symbian OS v9.2, S60 rel. 3.1 and it features features 2.2-inch (240×230 pixels) TFT display supporting brilliant 16 million colors.

The handset comes with 64 MB SDRAM, 128 MB Falsh ROM and it supports upto 2-GB hotswapable MicroSD media expansion card for expandable memory.

Nokia 5700 mobile phone also allows download of music tracks from a range of Internet music stores using Windows Media Player Digital Rights management (WMDRM). In addition, one can also enjoy the wireless music listing using Bluetooth stereo headphones.
